Help us hold local property developer to account
The Issue
Residents of Fairlight have serious concerns about the discrepancies in height, length and position of the 16 new properties erected at the Market Garden Development, Lower Waites Lane, Fairlight Cove, East Sussex TN35 4DB.
We believe they are too high and too near existing properties, causing privacy issues. Plus built too near the watercourses causing erosion.
We respectfully request that the Local Planning Authority (Rother District Council) commission an independent professional to visit, conduct and publish a comprehensive Site Survey.
Failure to survey the site will result in further loss of public confidence and trust in the planning system and non-compliant property developers.
Measurements are required prior to the sign off stage to confirm the accuracy of the:
- Original planning documents and the size of the Site.
- Finished height of the houses, including finished floor and ground levels relative to sea level.
- 'As built' lengths of the new rear gardens and their proximity to our existing dwellings.
- Proximity of new houses to the watercourses.
