UPDATE!⚠️ They have made the issue better in maybe the slightest, they have now only paved parts that were deemed “harsh enough” to cars by paving a portion of the road. This still brings up issues due to the road still having mostly gravel over it currently. This could also be an argument for making the road to be more unsafe for drivers who did not expect the sudden change from gravel to pavement, and could possibly cause a driver to lose traction and possibly crash and be injured.

ORIGINAL STATEMENT 

In McDonough, Georgia almost every road is paved. And there’s roads that were semi-paved and end up getting paved fully. However, there has been a rising issue, one of the roads called Eskew road was a semi-paved road. Now, Henry County has put rocks over the entire road due to potholes in the road, and when they would patch it, it would fall apart making the road worse. Now due to the rocks, the road is practically dirt. Residents cars and houses have been ruined by the dust that is caused from the rocks. And people who have common allergies and asthma are now experiencing short of breath from it. Residents of Eskew Road also like to walk on it, as it has a lower amount of traffic; Due to the negligence of Henry County, residents can no longer walk on the road without having dust fly up and make it near impossible to walk on the road. And due to the dust, the road has became a safety hazard. This petition is to finally get our road paved after years of negligence to our road.
