As a passionate musical theater student at Santa Fe College, I feel that our potential to grow as artists could be better supported. Currently, a significant portion of funding is directed toward outside professional companies using our facilities, which limits resources for student performances. These performances are essential for students to develop our skills, gain experience, and build strong resumes.

We kindly urge local educational institutions to consider a more balanced approach to funding, supporting both professional companies and student-led musicals. By investing more in student performances, we can more effectively pursue our dreams and contribute to cultural growth in our community.
