The issue

Urgent call out to help us save the iconic Australian platypus in Tasmania, the last frontier for platypus  in the world.

If we can’t protect them here, we can’t protect them anywhere.

We need your help!

The aim of this petition is to have a Platypus Protection Plan (PPP) required for ALL works undertaken on public land, that is within 30 metres of an inland waterway in Tasmania, by 1 January 2027.
