As of today 29 JAN 2025, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board has responded to our petition. They said that this issue needs to be taken up through legislation. We expected this and we have already been working with Rep. Peter Abbarno and a few others to draft up a bill. The rough draft has been created and we will be submitting this bill to be reviewed by our legislators. As soon as the bill has been submitted, we will upload it here for everyone to review. 

In the meantime, please encourage your friends, family, and others to sign this petition and show their support for this change! This is an uphill battle but with enough support we can make this happen!
