Myself (Forrest Chesvick) and fellow business owner Lina Ciampi of Cup of Swords Tavern in Olympia just wrapped up a Zoom meeting with State Representative, Peter Abbarno and Director of Policy Development, Stacey Folsom to discuss how to get this bill in the next session. This proved to be a productive meeting as our Rep. Abbarno was receptive to changing the law and eager to work with us. We will keep pushing for this and we plan to get in touch with more representatives to help draft a bill that will help everyone in the future.
