We have now reached the important milestone of 1000 supporters!

This is important partly because the petition will now get recommended more often but also because, as promised, I will now send an update to parliament.

I will send both a tweet and an email with the full list of supporters so far. My twitter handle is @fintin and my name is Finn Colman if you would like to follow the conversation thread on twitter. I plan to tweet the PM, the minister of defence and the minister of foreign affairs.

I also have ideas on how to proceed if there is no response, including involving the Ukrainian government in the conversation.
