REFUSED!

Hello, and thank you so much for being a supporter of this petition!

On Friday 26th June, the South Gloucestershire Spatial Planning Committee voted 4-1 to refuse this application.

Of course we are all delighted that (for now) our Green Belt is protected. 

The applicant (RWE) have 6 months to appeal. If they do the case will go to  the Planning Inspectorate (Central Government).

We don't know if this will happen or not, but will be sure to update you if it does.

We have also built an on-line evidence base that we hope to share with you in the future - So if you want to explore all the arguments presented you can.
