Many have been pessimistic with respect to the probability of Joe Rogan ever hosting a discussion with an intellectual defender of Christianity on his podcast, which is somewhat understandable, given the absence of such dialogue; that is until now. Recently, Joe spoke with renowned Christian scientist, Stephen Meyer, Director of the Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture in Seattle.

This is exciting and encouraging news in that it dispels the notion that Joe is uninterested in conversing with Christian academics/apologists. While I am writing this, I am in the middle of watching this episode, and Joe is showing keen interest in the matters that he Stephen are discussing, which is good to see. Additionally, given the fact that Stephen is close friends with William Lane Craig, perhaps this can act as a stepping stone to landing the latter on a future episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.
