The hedgehog has been voted Britain's favourite mammal. But our favourite furry friend is in danger. Somewhere between 167,000 and 335,000 hedgehogs die each year in the UK thanks to vehicles. School pupils in Newport sadly see dead hedgehogs along the main road in Duffryn. We can help! With a goal of 1,000 signatures, we want to Help the Hedgehogs! Because, let's face it, nobody wants to see a hedgehog that's been run over, do they? So the purpose of this petition is to persuade Newport Council to put in hedgehog crossings on Lighthouse Road, in Newport - and maybe elsewhere! Please sign the petition - it's free!
