Help the Guardian Angel stray cats and dogs in north Gaza seeks temporary sanctuary
The Issue
The great guardian angel of stray cats and dogs in north Gaza seeks temporary sanctuary in Switzerland. Please sign and share this to help him, his wife and 18 month old daughter.
As a compassionate human being deeply concerned about justice, I am moved to action by the plight of Muhammad Harz, his wife Sarah, and their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Maria. They are currently trapped in Gaza amidst escalating military operations. Their lives hang in the balance every day as they face an uncertain future. This situation is not unique to them; according to the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), there are thousands of civilians in similar situations across conflict zones.
Since his teens, Mo devoted his Life to caring for stray cats in the dilapidated alleyways of their neighborhood in northern Gaza. In a moving display of solidarity, he look after these abandoned creatures, sharing the meagre food available and providing modest shelter in the midst of chaos.
His silent devotion to these battered felines represents a breathtaking act of compassion.
Today, Mo and his family face the greatest challenge imaginable for a human being: surviving in a combat zone with no shelter, no place to escape the fighting. Cold, hunger, thirst, infectious diseases, dysentery and the absence of basic hygiene: nothing is spared them.
The urgent need is for all necessary measures to be implemented swiftly to protect Muhammad's family until military operations cease. This includes providing them with shelter in a peaceful place under decent conditions. It also involves allocating necessary human, material, and financial resources that will ensure their safety and well-being throughout the duration of these military operations.
This petition calls on international humanitarian organizations, governments worldwide, and individuals who believe in humanity's shared responsibility towards each other - we must act now! Let us come together as a global community committed to safeguarding innocent lives caught up in conflicts beyond their control.
Please sign this petition urging immediate action for the safe evacuation of Muhammad Harz's family from Gaza.

Petition text :
« We, the undersigned, appeal to the Swiss Federal Councillor for Foreign Affairs, Mr Ignazio Cassis, to Mr Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State of the United States, and to Mr Israel Katz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel. We ask them to defend the values they represent – the Swiss Confederation as the nation of the Red Cross, the United States as a symbol of freedom and Israel as a democracy.
In the spirit of these esteemed principles, we draw your attention to the dire situation faced by Muhammad Harz, his wife Sarah and Maria, their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, in the midst of the military operations conducted by Tsahal in Gaza. The current circumstances have created an urgent need for their temporary relocation to seek refuge, aligning with their rights under international humanitarian law.
We urge the Federal Council of the Swiss Confederation, Mr. Anthony Blinken, and the government of the State of Israel to take immediate and sincere actions, devoid of deception or Machiavellian tactics, to facilitate the safe passage of Muhammad Harz, his wife Sarah and Maria, their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter out of Gaza. We urge them to quickly implement all necessary measures to protect them until military operations cease. We urge them to shelter this family in a peaceful place and in decent conditions. This includes providing the necessary human, material, and financial resources to ensure their safety and well-being in a secure location throughout the duration of the military operations. We ask that these measures be temporary and that their return to Gaza be assured."
