As many of you know, the public consultation process ended over one year ago. After a long silent period, INIS eventually promised a written response by the Fall of 2017. As of January 2018, there has still been no response. Deputy Charles Flanagan is now the new Minister for Justice & Equality and so I am reviving this petition and directing it his attention. Not sure why the Justice Ministry is dragging this out. If anyone has any thoughts, please share with fellow petitioners. A public consultation without a public result seems a bit incomprehensible. In addition to an announcement of new rules, we are also hoping for detailed guidelines which were never issued. Please post any questions or thoughts.. Cheers, Annie
