Minister for Justice & Equality Charlie Flanagan has finally made a public statement on the proposed Stamp 0 rule changes. However, he only announced that the review is near completion and we have heard this before so his statement may not be especially hopeful to those hoping for some progress on this issue. Still, any response is better than no response. But perhaps we are in fact nearing the end of this review and our efforts to establish reasonable rules for those wishing to retire to Ireland. So I encourage all of you to make perhaps one last stand to utilize any and all resources to request reasonable rule changes applicable to those of us who love Ireland and wish to make it our full-time homes.
