Please register your objections to the proposed scheme following the guidance below to keep to factual supportive arguments and quoting the planning reference number, including an explanation of why or how you personally use or know of the area.

Proposal  Proposed Solar Farm (30MW) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) (30MW) with ancillary infrastructure including access, landscape and ecology improvements. For comments to be considered seriously they should be  in your own words, stick to key topics and be factually not emotionally based. Negative impact on the openness of this green belt area, reducing the leisure appeal enjoyed by so many recreational visitors to the area.
Damage to the setting of the listed buildings (Heritage Assets) in close proximity to the scheme, Dog House pub, large Essex Barn next to the old cart pond, the cottages next to the pub along with other listed properties close to the scheme.
Negative business impact particularly to the Dog House pub
Loss of good productive agricultural land.
Negative Impact on the local wildlife.
Connection construction disruption on key roads from Tawney common, Gaynes Park, Fiddlers Hamlet, Stonards Hill,  and Epping High Street, allowing for potential further extension of solar in the area.
