Now please picture this. 

There you are, enjoying bringing up your children and living your best life in a beautiful tourist region. Until one day your home, your health, your business and your environment are all placed under threat from a massive open-cut lead mine. And then the managing director of the mining company in an interview with the ABC dismisses you and your perfectly legitimate concerns as nothing more than "scaremongering (and) a bit of a sideshow".

I want to ask you a question.

How would you feel if you were dismissed just like that? Would you lie back and just let it roll over you, or would it make you want to continue to fight even harder to preserve your way of life?

We have chosen to fight.

Fight against the injustice of the Government using process to railroad mining approvals with no right of appeal on the merits of a community's arguments. 

Fight against the ignorance of a man who, representing his company and his investors, dismisses a community's fears for their children's and their own health, as well as their livelihood, as nothing more than "a bit of a sideshow".

Fight for the next community who could be placed in the position of facing the same loss. So they don't have to.

Please help us prove Mr McClure wrong. We are not a sideshow! We are the Main Event and, quite frankly, we believe they ain't seen nothing yet!
