Thanks to all of you, we are starting to gain real momentum with our petition - we have now broken through to more than 1,000 supporters!

Here's a fact to make your blood boil. Bowdens and the New South Wales Department of Planning think it is appropriate that we have blood testing for heavy metal contamination before, and after, the mine is cut deep into our beautiful valley. What sort of country do we live in where it is acceptable for a community to be deliberately put at known risk from lead poisoning by their own Government, who know the risk is real enough to require blood testing?!
