Petition updateHelp Stop a Deportation - Keep Lissa Home — Sign to Protect a Mother, Artist & Leader🆘 URGENT PETITION UPDATE – June 12, 2025
Tetsuo HatanakaCA, United States
Jun 12, 2025

They’re trying to deport Lissa without letting her see a judge.

Today, something happened that even top immigration lawyers say they’ve never seen in their entire careers.

Lissa’s immigration case was dismissed by the judge so ICE can attempt an “administrative removal” — meaning they can deport her without any trial, without any chance to defend herself.

Not even a second hearing. Not even the right to speak.

Our attorney, Ami Hutchinson, said plainly: this is extreme.

And Jesse, a removal defense attorney with 16+ years of experience, confirmed:

“I’ve never once seen this happen — not even with aggravated felony cases. This is likely a directive from high up in the Trump administration.”

its becoming a human rights issue. and a due process issue.

This is not just about Lissa anymore — it’s about how far our system is willing to go to remove someone, without a hearing, without a voice.

We are now mobilizing reaching out nationally — reaching out to lawyers and advocacy groups across the country to see if others are being treated this way and how we can fight back.

In the meantime, we ask for your continued prayers, support, and action.

➡️ Please keep sharing the petition.

➡️ Please keep raising awareness.

➡️ And please know: we are fighting. With every legal path possible.

Lissa has been detained for nearly a month. Denied proper food, water, and medication.

Now they want to erase her voice entirely.

We won’t let that happen.

🙏🏽 Let us continue to pray to our divine God, for guidance, protection, and strength through this storm. May God's justice prevail and its light lead us forward.
