Hey everyone, just a quick update on Lissa’s case:

We’ve retained a legal team that specializes in immigration detention cases in Eloy Detention Center in Arizona. A legal representative will be visiting Lissa next Wednesday to hear her story privately, document her case, and begin formal communication with ICE on her behalf.

After that, we’ll be reviewing legal options in detail. The court system in Eloy is extremely backed up — there are only two judges, so her hearing could still take weeks. We’re staying strong, and doing everything we can.
