We have just been advised Boroondara Council has refused this application on several grounds!!!
An amendment has been granted by the State Planning Minister which has the effect of reducing the maximum height to 2 storeys. We are very thankful of this advancement.
However other concerns are still in progress regarding affordable rentals in Camberwell, protecting valuable aged trees, and most significantly, the heritage aspect of this valued development of 18 apartments in a park setting, which has been well documented as a unique inter & post war housing style, worthy of celebration.
