We are trying to help improve the health and well-being of homeless immigrants so that they feel recognized in our community. More than half of the refugees that come to Toronto need to remain in shelters because there is nowhere else they have to go. They are struggling alone in tough weather conditions. There’s an average of 1 death every 10 days for homeless people. Nearly half of the world's population lives in poverty. They don't have a lot because these people sleep on the streets and barely eat. So we started this petition for people to sign and show that they care and want change. This can help feed the hungry, clear out disease, and allow everyone to live a productive and rich life. Signing our petition is a small step that makes a huge difference.
