The Government of Gilgit Baltistan has announced to cancel the proposed festival in Deosai National Park and shift it to Rama in Astore District. Daily K2, a national Urdu news paper published the news on Thursday Aug 18, 2016 saying that Government of Gilgit Blatistan has decided not to organize festival in Deosai National Park, the habitat of Himalayan Brown Bear and planing to organize the festival in Rama, Astore.
