Dear Friend of UC, BIG NEWS from the Planning Department! They have removed the Rezoning proposal for single-family residential homes in South University City in the Community Plan Update! An email communication sent yesterday from City Planner Nancy Graham states “No changes will be included for the residential uses in South University City”. This is a direct result of community engagement and opposition, thank you for getting involved! We urge you to continue showing your support and attend the in-person meeting that we fought for on Tuesday, May 17, 6:00-9:00 p.m., at the University City High School Theater.
