A broken system for decades!
For generations people have spoken up only for history to repeat again and again and its coming at the cost of societal values, mental health, general wellbeing and safety of our children
Since starting this petition, I’ve been informed of so many heartbreaking issues occurring within the schools that many have carried into their adult lives.
As a mum, it is heart wrenching for me to hear and read about the number of children who have been bullied to the extent that they feel or felt the only thing that could or would help them was to commit suicide.

If you read the updates I write, you will know that the links I provide are just the tip of the iceberg!
I have questions – why are the children not being listened to or being helped when they are trying so hard to be heard?
Why are some parents being impeded or pacified by the schools and education system when issues are being brought to their attention. Things like; he or she doesn’t usually do this or its out of character for him or her, who cares if it is out of character when it has happened and continues to happen, but the child doesn’t say anything anymore because the ‘grown ups’ don’t do anything, and they are bullied more for ‘telling’.
Why are children returned to the class, that is often the location of the bully or bullies to be bullied further.
Why did the parent mentioned above feel the necessity to take out a personal protection order in an attempt to keep his child safe from bullies.
Further, I want to know the thinking that results in parents receiving communication restrictions, consequence of potential legal ramifications or redirection to other areas, simply for speaking up to seek assistance to protect their children.
There is significant evidence to support that bullying is rife and it appears that there are little effective solutions in place to assist those being bullied and their families. So, why aren’t there significant consequences put in place for those perpetrators of bullying, when the consequence for the victim can be their life.
Please remember one person’s voice can make a difference, and every single person’s voice adds up and becomes many and collectively we will make a difference.
