Happy Friday! 463 community signatures so far and counting! I think it’s important to remember that us adults (18+) are the people who have the right to advocate on behalf of the communities children who this decision is most affecting. The kids can’t say no to the Marchuska Brothers but we can— so thank you for signing and sharing on something so very important to our area. And thank you for your time and energy in bringing light to this issue. Even if someone tells you that a petition does not work— do not believe them. It may not be a meeting in an office but it is irrefutable evidence that we do not support the sly decisions being made. The Marchuska Brothers and the Williams Auto Group cannot argue, despite their attempts to sink it over the last year, the FACT that our community wants Skate Estate to remain and fully supports it. You cannot label a business as a failure when an entire community stands up in defense of that. This petition provides that irrefutable truth. So let’s not lose steam on this. Continue to share this petition and ask those that you know are upset by this to comment and make their voices heard too. I am beyond appreciative of you all in massive ways and I will update if I learn anything other than what’s been publicly shared. As it currently stands,the hearing board will meet at the Vestal Town Hall on February 11th at 6p. According to the town clerk everyone can just show up.
