Help Save our dog Princess, which the condo board where we live wants her gone.

The Issue

Petition:

Our beloved dog, Princess, is in danger of being taken away from us by the condo board where we live (Domaine Les Bernaches Bloc 38 - St-Jerome).

We are heartbroken and devastated at the thought of losing her.

Princess has been a part of our family for the last 4 month and has brought us so much joy and love. She also helps Sarah (who is 28 years old) with her mental health, as Sarah has severe anxiety and depression. She is well-behaved, friendly, and loved by everyone who meets her. However, despite all this, the condo board wants her gone from the premises as she is over the weight limit which is 25 pounds, she is 35 pounds.

We understand that there may be concerns about having pets in a shared living space. However, we have taken every precaution to ensure that Princess does not disturb or harm anyone in any way.

In fact, studies have shown that having pets can actually improve mental health and overall well-being. According to a study published in BMC Public Health journal (2017), pet owners reported significantly lower levels of depression and anxiety compared to those without pets.

Furthermore, many condos across North America allow pets as long as they follow certain rules such as leash laws or designated pet areas. It is not uncommon for condos to have pet-friendly policies in place.

We urge the condo board to reconsider their decision and allow Princess to stay with us. We are willing to work with them on any necessary arrangements or accommodations needed for her presence.

Please sign this petition if you believe that Princess deserves a chance to stay with her loving family. Let's show the condo board how much she means to us!
