We stand at a critical moment in our fight against Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects in our state. As someone who has already signed our petition, we urge you to take the next step in this fight.

The Threat is Real

We urge you to join us in opposing the proposed Class VI well in Allen Parish. While there are many Class V wells in other parishes, Allen Parish is the ONLY parish in our state with a pending permit for a Class VI well, which has been applied for. WE WILL FIGHT WITH EVERY OUNCE OF STRENGTH WE HAVE TO STOP IT.

As we stand against CCS projects, we want to make one thing clear: WE REJECT ANY AND ALL FORMS OF COMPENSATION OR FUNDING RELATED TO CCS PROJECTS. We will not be swayed by robocalls, buyouts, or any amount of money. Our opposition is not for sale. We will stop at no ends to protect our children, our health, and our way of life. In no way, shape, or form will this funding be used to build our parishes. Our parishes will not be built on the blood of our children!

We will not sacrifice our children's future, health, and well-being for the sake of profit, progress, or parish development. THE LIVES OF OUR CHILDREN ARE NOT A BARGAINING CHIP FOR PARISH DEVELOPMENT.
