Drone footage from @urgentseas on March 22, 2024 show Kshamenk at Mundo Marino in Argentina listless in the passageway between two concrete tanks for 20 minutes in the sun.  He has lost a concerning amount of weight.  He was captured in 1992 and lived in inhospitable conditions since that time.  He has been alone without another orca since 2000.  He has performed daily for “entertainment”.  He deserves so much more after a life of captivity.  He is wasting away and dying before our very eyes.  He is the last captive Orca in South America.

Please support Kshamenk.  Together we can raise awareness and use our voices to help before it’s too late.  Mundo Marino and the Argentinian government have not responded to calls or concerns for Kshamenk’s well being.  They refuse to release or export Kshamenk to another facility.  Time is running out.
