Some people are under the impression that my life is NOTHING but hedgehogs ... and this weekend gives a good example of the balance I manage to strike ...

Okay - so there was the Oxford Green Fair to begin with on Saturday - at which I ran a stall promoting my campaign HedgeOX, the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and encouraging people to buy some scrumptious books ... hint hint.

Usually these events are a great chance to catch up with friends - but this one was non-stop work. As this petition has shown, people really do care - and that was clear in the depth of conversation I had - amazing, but quite exhausting.

Non-hedgehog bit? Got home and cooked a meal for friends and family largely made out of garlic!

Sunday morning saw the launch of Nick Cope's new album - Have you Heard about Hugh. He did three one hour shows, completely sold out, in the famous Jaqueline du Pre music rooms in Oxford. And it was utterly and completely amazing. My EGO - to have a song about a hedgehog called Hugh ... oh, have a look at the picture! I also got to promote my HedgeOX work, and encourage people to sign this petition ... the more the merrier.

Non-hedgehog bit? Straight from taking photos of Nick to my son's choir - where I am the photographer ... have a look at Magdalen College Choir's website (mostly my photos) and you get an idea about the juggle of my life! It was the advent service and it was so beautiful.

Tonight? I hear you ask ... Well, I am doing the Christmas talk for the Oxfordshire Mammal Group and it is about .... wait for it ....

HEDGEHOGS!

Oxford Natural History Museum, 7pm, Monday 3rd December. Come and say hi!
