Dear Hedgehog-heroes ...

First - THANK YOU - I woke up this morning to find that something amazing had happened and the counter has been accelerating still more ... 

The message at the heart of this petition comes from the work I do with Hedgehog Street - the collaboration between the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and the People's Trust for Endangered Species (I know - such long names!)

We have been calling on everyone to do their best with their gardens, to make holes in fences and walls. Have a look at the Hedgehog Street website for more ideas as to how to create links.

And now - we have a real chance of ensuring that developers of newly built estates will have to consider the wildlife that should be allowed to share the space they are using.

We are not over yet - please keep sharing. And when we get to 100,000 I will post a cute hedgehog photo as another thank you!
