Our beloved local Motorsport mechanic has been awaiting sentencing for over a 3 months after being convicted by a jury for the crime of fleeing and eluding. After being convicted, every citizen has a right to be sentence within a reasonable amount of time. It has been brought to our attention that someone has wrongfully and misleadingly filed a motion to determine his mental competency and in sed motion it states that it was on behalf of Javarris Fleming himself. Javarris never requested such motion and believes that the judicial system is working against him to keep him incarcerated by labeling him as mentally incompetent. Why determine mental competency after already going through a trial by jury and being found guilty?

Additionally, Javarris has filed a motion to withdraw the wrongfully submitted motion. On a recorded line, his lawyer stated that he would make sure that the courts never see the motion to withdraw the motion for competency and that Javarris would be forced to go through with the motion for competency that was submitted without his consent. At this point he is trapped in a system that was made to be fair and just. 

This petition is an attempt to reach the judge of the mental competency hearing (Judge Porth) with a list of signatures of people in our local community that can all vouch for the mental competency of Javarris Fleming. Javarris is competent and just wants to be sentenced and complete his just duty within the penal system. Let it be know that Javarris Fleming has been incarcerated for this crime since August 2023. It is currently the end of January 2025.
