News that Lloyd Clark Fletcher, notorious child rapist and killer, has applied to be released from an indefinite life sentence, has outraged me one of his victims, my family and friends.

I was 13 years old when Fletcher attacked me in my hometown of Bright, Victoria.

Fletcher was the first person in Queensland to be given an indefinite life sentence for his violent crimes against women.

Queensland Homicide Victim Support Group CEO, Brett Thompson, has said someone like Fletcher should never be free in the community.
