I, the undersigned am a resident and concerned citizen of this beautiful town of Hillsboro Beach, Florida, and hereby express my deep concern and opposition to the recent rezoning that threatens our beloved community. Specifically, I am alarmed by the recent rezoning that has been approved, replacing our long standing 35-foot zoning with a designation exceeding 150 feet. This change not only jeopardizes the unique character of our own but also paves the way for future spot zoning, undermining the very essence of Hillsboro Beach. I am committed to preserving the integrity of our community for both the current and future generations to come.

By signing this petition. I call on the Town Commission to:

1.    Revoke the rezoning and or Property Rights Provision recently approved that threatens our community’s character and identity.

2.    Enforce zoning regulations that respect and preserve the established 35-foot zoning and prevent further instances of spot zoning.

3.    Protect the safety, tranquility, and natural beauty that makes Hillsboro Beach a cherished place for all of us to call home.
