Hi there, The election is over and I'm back being the squeaky wheel. I've had several reports that small complexes (10 or less units and valued at <$5M) are finding it difficult to convince their BCMs to get a quote for the Suncorp Strata Direct product. One complex in Townsville was told by their BCM that they didn't fit the criteria even though they were 6 units valued at $4M. With the situation the way it is, your Body Corporate Managers should be getting quotes from every insurance company who will quote in your area (not just those who pay commissions or your present insurer and one other), so you can decide which to choose based on terms and conditions and cost.
