Thousands of people with autism and/or LD still stuck in ATUs

They say a society is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable, and yet today there are still thousands of vulnerable people living in Acute Treatment Units, incarcerated miles away from those who know and love them best for no crime - simply because they have autism and / or learning difficulties.
