Thank you all for your support, your comments, your empathy, your encouragement and, above all, for taking action for Matthew. Thanks to you, he is at very long last at the place he should have been at 7 months ago. He can now be assessed! He is now one step closer to coming home. We can't thank you enough for making this victory possible. A big victory in this first battle, but we know the fight isn't over. The bigger battle (as I know many of you have experienced and know only too well) is the one which will get Matthew home where he belongs! We want to do all that we can to ensure that families with children with learning difficulties and/or autism NEVER EVER get torn apart by long-term, long-distance inpatient care again!
