I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who has signed and shared my petition. Because of your support, we have now gathered over 38,000 signatures — 38,000 voices standing together to demand change, accountability, and justice.

Six years ago, I was sexually assaulted while working as a crew member onboard the Oceania Riviera, operated by Norwegian Cruise Line. For a long time, I felt silenced, manipulated, and powerless. When I finally found the strength to speak out, I learned that the law prevents me from seeking justice because cruise lines like NCL are protected by a one-year statute of limitation — after that, victims can no longer take legal action.

This fight has become bigger than me. It’s about ensuring that no other crew member is ever silenced or denied justice because of a corporate loophole.

Thanks to your support, I have now emailed multiple state senators in Miami — where Norwegian Cruise Line is based — to ask them to change this law and protect those who work under it. I’ve also contacted several journalists and investigative reporters in Miami to share my story and shed light on how these protections harm survivors and enable cover-ups.

This is only the beginning, but your voices have already made a difference. Your signatures show that the world is watching — and that this silence will not continue.
