UPDATE - 4/3/19 - CBS46 NEWS STORY

J KoppHARDEEVILLE, SC, United States
Apr 3, 2019

Dear supporters, please be advised that I recently did an interview with CBS46 news, and it is supposed to air tomorrow, Thursday, April 4th (have not received confirmation on the time as of yet).  For those of you who are not in the area to view, you should be able to view it after it airs on CBS46.com.

House bill 544 regarding the involuntary committal for evaluation of individuals with addictive disease remains in front of the House Judiciary Committee for review this year and is slated for the 2020 legislative session.  I will be called to the Capitol at some point to work with them and give my testimony.

House Bill 586 regarding the collection/disposal of leftover/unused controlled substances is tabled for now, as it is an extremely complicated and complex bill. I will be working with a task force to work out the details and fine-tune proposed legislation for this bill.

Once again, thank you all for your support, and please continue to send this petition to as many people as you can for signature.

Many thanks, Jenna
