Dear Supporters,
Received an update this afternoon from my state legislator.
House Bill Number 544 was introduced on February 28th, 2019, regarding my proposal for the involuntary committal for evaluation of individuals with mental illness and/or addictive disease. The Bill is in front of the House Judiciary Committee for review.
In addition, my state legislator introduced House Bill Number 586 on March 7th, 2019, regarding my proposal for the collection and disposal of leftover/unused prescription controlled substances from the home once a patient passes or the medication is no longer required. This Bill is currently in front of the Health and Human Services Committee for review.
Again, thank you for your support, and please continue to share this online petition with others. Support is needed now more than ever now that these two Bills are in front of our lawmakers.
In memory of my Beloved Brother, Ben, and to ensure that this never happens again, please continue to share and support!
Thank you, Jenna
