It is sad to hear that Middlesex University is having to explore a proposal to close the on-campus nursery. Not only does this effect the amazing irreplaceable core staff who work there, but all parents, students and the local community whose children use the nursery. 

It is a huge asset to Middlesex who strive to help working families. However, by getting rid of this integral resource it is taking a huge step back in helping staff and students come back to campus after having children and helping with affordable childcare.

At the moment they are in a consultation phase, so if we can show how crucial it is to stay open and get as many signatures as possible hopefully they can find a solution that works for both their staff and parents.
