Yesterday Potter Street witnessed a horrific crash as a speeding car ran into a brick wall. This happened in the middle of the day and the fact that no-one was killed is a miracle.

Still no action from Essex Highways on the speeding issue on Potter Street and no Highways meetings planned for Harlow at this time.

Despite regular updates on the Essex Highways website about the existing VAS signs on Potter Street being broken they are still not fixed ( after 3 years) and the new promised VAS signs have not appeared. 

Essex Police have still not provided us with the data from the last speed traps despite FOI requests made. 

We need speed cameras and VAS signs as a matter of urgency plus a thorough review from Essex Highways as to how to slow traffic on Potter Street.
