The video highlights that the current measures Essex Highways have in place for Potter Street do not work. Cars are able to speed at well above 60mph along the road with no physical barriers to slow them down. Unfortunately trying to "enforce the current speed limit" does not work as there has been no recent Essex Police speed traps and there are no speed cameras. In fact all there is are a couple of old 30mph signs by the Miller and Carter pub. This means people do accelerate all the way down from the top of the road until they get to Prentice Place shops and the roundabout.
