If you know me, you know I’m always at Target. Like, a LOT. So much so that if I ever go missing, definitely check Bullseye’s Playground before calling the police. 

And for any TRUE Target fan, getting a book on their shelves is the holy grail.

Why Target?

I wrote Sole Mates at “Tar-Jay”! 

True story: after hip surgery, my doctor prescribed 1,000 steps per day. So I jotted down ideas on my phone as I wandered the aisles of my “happy place.” 

Now Sole Mates is stocked in libraries, bookstores and museums. And I have been invited to speak at events across the country. 

What’s next?

To quote a famous movie line, I want the fairy tale. But I need your help with the perfect ending, AND to make kids fall in love with reading again. 

Go big, or go home. 

There are 1,948 Target stores in the United States. If Sole Mates can get into just ONE of them, we win. And by “we,” I mean you, me, the company, and the kids!
