My name is Jennifer Baxtron. My son Terron Evans Jr age 26, moved to Potsdam in June 2020. I was vocal at that time in seeking truth and Justice for a little boy named Garrett Phillips who was killed(in which a Deputy Sheriff may be responsible for) in Potsdam NY on October 24, 2011. His case remains unsolved open and ongoing. On 1/8/21 Terron's on and off girlfriend claimed that Terron committed suicide in her home in Potsdam. She claimed that Terron took over 50 Wellbutrin pills but there were no pills,pill residue or vomit found in the autopsy. This woman has lied about the last time she saw Terron. She has told community members that she has video of Terron taking pills and a 2 page suicide note but denied it to law enforcement. She claimed to law enforcement that Terron made a private Facebook post (that she only saw) that she claimed to be a suicide note. None of Terron's family or friends saw this Facebook page or post. I had put in numerous FOIL requests(since April 2021)and was denied most of my requests until March 2023. In March the St Lawrence County Attorney released(not through FOIL but as I am Administrator of Terron's Estate)documents, sound only interviews of this woman and her son, 2 body cam videos of 1 St Lawrence County Sheriff when he came to my house twice on 1/8/21. There were 5 responding officers at the scene of Terron's death. I only received 1 body cam video at the scene. That video was heavily redacted. The officer whose body cam video it was resigned after I called Internal Affairs. The St Lawrence County Chief ADA resigned on the same day Terron's life ended. The lead Sheriff Detective retired after closing Terron's case. I am still being denied the 911 call. The St Lawrence County Sheriff's had a file already in existence 8+ hours before Terron's life ended on 1/8/21 @ 7:55am. The only thing I received from that file is a sound only interview of Crystal and her son verbally dated by Sheriff Detective McCargar as 1/8/21. The file is dated and timed 1/7/21 10:41 pm. They have no legal reason to already have a file regarding Terron prior to his death, never having Terron in their custody. Terron Evans Jr was killed to silence me from continuing to seek truth and Justice for Garrett Phillips. I am requesting that the St Lawrence County District Attorney and New York State Governor refer Terron Evans Jr's case to the New York State Attorney General to be investigated. I am requesting that the New York State Attorney General completely honestly and fairly investigate the death of Terron Evans Jr of Potsdam New York. There is so much more to Terron's story.
