Hi everyone,

Bit of a different update today, with 3 things being posted above. Here's a little about each:

1. Ofgem have posted a letter about delaying a consultation until December, so in that first link above I've given a quick run through of what the letter says, what to expect in that consultation and how we need to engage with consultation processes going forward.  Additionally, we are expecting 2 or 3 consultations on the price cap this month, so keep an eye out for these updates or subscribe to the Over50smoney youtube channel to get notifications when I post about it.
2. The second link is an article I wrote about the importance of boiler cover, especially as we're coming into the winter months. Full disclaimer, my company earns commission if you go with 24 7 Home Rescue through the links in the article, we partner with them because they have great prices and great customer satisfaction scores. But the point of the article is to explain why we all need boiler protection, so feel free to look around and go with other companies, I just think it's really important we all get our boilers serviced and protected before the winter comes, it can be so expensive if they fail and you're not covered. 
3. The third link is less energy related, it's a summary of Rishi's speech at the conservative conference the other day and my views on it. It's a personal expression of my own views, i'm not politically affiliated in any way and will never try to sway you one way or the other, it's literally just my reaction video. People have found it interesting, thought you might as well. If you just want the summary of announcements, skip to exactly 09:00 on the video.
