We would love for many more than 10,000 to sign of course but our first milestone is 10,000.  We are nearing 5,000 and the global reach of those wishing to protect marine mammals far extends this.  

You will notice on the Open Letter - more and more organisations and ocean advocates signing up to support this, please add your voice by encouraging all the contacts in your networks to sign and share our petition - creating a ripple effect.

We have now listed some of the legislation which should have protected this animal.  In addition to holding the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries to account, we seek to ensure the next time an out of habitat animal temporarily drifts into this territory, that reasonable, appropriate and compassionate action is taken to ethically accommodate and cohabit.

Please encourage petition sharing more than once ideally and through a variety of avenues - in our fast paced world it is easy to scroll past.
