Help Donna find a desperately needed liver donor

Help Donna find a desperately needed liver donor
The Issue
My mom was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) 15 years ago and currently has end stage liver disease. PBC is a rare autoimmune liver disease that has no known cause. There is currently no cure for PBC. She has been struggling with various symptoms, including severe itchiness, pain around the liver, exhaustion, and fluid buildup, which requires a fluid tap to train the excess fluid. Currently she is barely able to get out of bed, but she has to have bloodwork weekly. She is on the liver transplant list, and she needs to have a transplant ASAP. Because there are thousands of people on the transplant list looking for an organ donor, her best shot at survival and feeling normal again is by finding a "living liver donor." This means that someone would donate a piece of their liver to save her life. The donor's liver would grow back to its normal size. We are desperately looking for a donor age 18-55 with blood type O, who is willing to donate a portion of their liver to help my mom live. If you can, would you mind spreading the word?
This is very time sensitive because she is getting much worse and her MELD score is rising quickly.
If you think you might be a match, please contact donatetodonna@gmail.com.
Thank you so much!
