Residents have shared concerns about the safety of pedestrians and cyclists as they try to cross the busy junction of Allendale Road, Ling Road and Main Street, adjacent to the Aldi roundabout. This is a route which is widely used by school children and I feel is one which urgently requires a pelican crossing to ensure pedestrian and cyclists safety. I have repeatedly asked the County Council to look at ways to improve  the safety at the roundabout but I now need your support to add pressure to put in a crossing.

I will present this petition as evidence of public support for this proposal.
