Help Bring The Carnival To Milford High School

Help Bring The Carnival To Milford High School
The Issue
We love Milford. That's why we decided to put on a parade, an annual event for the community to gather at in celebration. It was as simple as that. You could imagine our excitement when Fiesta Shows approached us about hosting and annual carnival with a chance to raise a lot of money for our parade efforts. In the end we raised $17,000 from a generous donation from E.J. Deans and his carnival crew.
But it wasn't ONLY about the money... it's honestly about community, rebuilding, growth, family, friends and culture. It's about creating memories. Just like the memories that most of us grew up with that were lost over the years. A simpler time, when we ventured outside the comforts of our homes and yards to gather with friends and family to enjoy the music, the lights, the laughter, the action. And when it was all done, we counted the days until the next annual event to do it all over again. Some may see this opportunity as an inconvenience. Two nights and two full days. Can we really afford to deny our community an opportunity to celebrate life? When we look around, our neighbors have developed successful, lucrative and long-lasting relationships with Fiesta Shows. Franklin holds their annual carnival in their Town Common, Hopkinton at their high school. Some of New England's most respected communities showcase their carnivals on town property situated in residential areas.
Milford deserves a carnival with the same picturesque backdrop of our high school. A reminder of simpler times. A Norman Rockwell throwback if you will. Please help us continue to build back a community that socializes, grows and thrives.
The high school parking lot is our only option unfortunately. Without this location we can not have a carnival this year.
Thank you
