More than 480,000 deaths annually are caused by smoking cigarettes and cigars & second hand smoke as well. Smoking/ second hand smoke is one of the top causes of deaths in the US.

People also tend to litter their cigarettes and cigar butts in the streets, water and other areas outdoors, which is hurting our environment. Another thing is the air pollution caused by smoking these toxic poisonous things. The air pollution from cigarettes and cigars are 10 times greater than diesel car exhaust.

Not only are people putting themselves at great danger everyday but they are also risking everyone around them too. Most humans die sooner than they could have from things like smoking, unhealthy eating habits and other things. 

Imagine the world not having cigarettes or cigars handy. There would be an improvement in the air quality we breathe daily and less deaths in the US every year.
