Because of your incredible support, our appeal to protect 35 Afghan women human rights defenders has now reached the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs!

After weeks of pushing, the Dutch government has acknowledged our request and is reviewing it. But we cannot let this be just another bureaucratic process. These women are still in grave danger, facing police extortion, arbitrary arrests, and the looming deadline of March 31—when mass deportations from Pakistan to Afghanistan will begin.
